Help Clancy Long

Hi, I’m Clancy! First off, I wanna give a huge thank you to my dad for creating this website. My story inspired him to create this, and he’s been hard at work to make sure my story gets out there and that I get support. I wouldn’t be as far as I am right now without the help from him, my mom, and my good friends Dan & Kane, + a few other amazing friends that have been giving me support, transportation and financial help, and insight. I am currently homeless and recovering from addiction. I don’t want to get too much into it because of how fresh this all is and how vulnerable I am, but I also have fresh grief, trauma, and uncertainty. Despite all of this, I’m committed to remaining positive, hopeful, integral, and kind. I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I’m certain it will be a successful one… I just need support to reach that. I can’t do it alone. I know a few things for certain: I will get my cat back, I will have a roof over my head, and I will have a space for my creativity and research to thrive and be seen and heard by those who need it. My ultimate goal in life is to teach everyone the spiritual & psychological wisdom I have gained throughout my few decades of life, and I want to do that through my art, in any and all creative lenses. I want to dedicate my time to that, and my free time to travel, adventure, and experiences that fulfill me, my family, and my friends. For that to really thrive and have its full effect on people, I need a roof over my head, and funds to continue my art. I want to make more music, draw more illustrations, and teach as many people as possible how to understand that their bodies, minds, emotions, and spirits are all connected in one, and by you choosing to help me along the way, you’re choosing to support an artist that is dedicated to making the world a better place. I understand that not just everyone you come across that needs help will benefit or fully appreciate people helping them to gain the bare necessities and more, and that it can be a big ask and expectation, to want as many people as possible to fund my life while I’m trying to get back on my feet… The reason I think I’m worth this, and why my dad thinks I’m worth all of this, and why my friends do as well, is because my current struggles aren’t a result of poison I’ve put out into the world, and poison to myself (although I have to be accountable for the poison and damage I’ve caused due to my alcoholism), but they’re a result of a higher lesson of mine that is for me to learn what truly matters to me when it comes to my security, support system, what matters to me, and how to continue to nurture my creativity. I believe that everyone deserves a chance to be successful, and everyone deserves basic needs… but with your help, I can give back to you and the world knowledge and wisdom in a way that hasn’t been organized or done before. In other words, I feel empowered to embrace all of the things that make me special, that others see in me as well. Stay tuned for my art, and thank you for your consideration!
